Focusing on arts organisations in Bath as the example, analysis suggests that decreasing local arts budgets will lead to additional financial loss. Recent data has revealed that these arts organisations have consistently attracted three times as much financial support from other sources as they have been granted by the local council, which has stayed steady as the council has cut its annual contribution by more than half over the past decade. The Greatest Dancer? SYTYCD!

So You Think You Can Dance, first gracing our television screens many moons ago, has enjoyed at least a dozen series. It’s format focused on featuring adult dancers between the ages of 18-30, and popularised many established choreographers among the masses, such as Mia Michaels. BalletBoyz’ Liam Riddick

Originally from South Wales, Liam was a NDCWales associate and Royal Ballet Junior associate before studying contemporary dance at Coleg Gwent in Newport. This led Liam to London to complete his degree at London Contemporary Dance School. Upon graduating Liam joined Richard Alston Dance Company, touring nationally and internationally for eight years. During his time in the company Liam was nominated seven times in six consecutive years at the Critics Circle National Dance Awards. In February 2018 he won Best Male Dancer 2017. He has also danced for James Cousins Dance, was featured in renowned photographer Rick Guest’s exhibition and book ‘What Lies Beneath’, and was Dancing Times dancer of the month. Usually it is the end of a year that sees dancers and performers mapping out the goals that they hope to achieve in the future, however there is nothing to stop you defining new goals at any time of the year. It could even be argued that setting goals at the start of a new year adds unnecessary pressure to doing so, and may mean you are less likely to attain these goals.
