Vitsoe and Motionhouse choreograph a creative space

The internationally renowned touring dance-circus company, Motionhouse, has joined British furniture manufacturer Vitsoe in its new home in Royal Leamington Spa, bringing together the arts and manufacturing in one inspirational space. The pair wanted to create a space that was adaptable and enabled the exploration of cultural interactions and connections. The collaboration therefore brings together creative minds from different disciplines, offering new perspectives that enrich working lives. Barbican Theatre Plymouth launches new diverse dance programme

Barbican Theatre (Plymouth) has announces initial plans for its four year diverse dance programme which will collectively be known as FUSE: DIVERSE DANCE. National youth festival celebrates decade of dance

One Dance UK’s annual national youth dance festival, U.Dance, celebrates its tenth year with a performance hosted in the UK’s eastern region for the first time. The event will showcase a unique collection of youth dance work. Twelve dance groups have been selected from over 290 entrants nationwide through a series of 20 regional heats. Dance Umbrella’s 2018 programme

Dance Umbrella, London’s flagship festival of international dance celebrates its 40th anniversary this autumn and has announced its full programme. Dance Umbrella will take place from 26 September – 21 October, and opens with Big Dance Theater’s UK debut at The Old Vic with 17c, a look at the frank diaries of Samuel Pepys. Closing the festival at the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink will be the highly anticipated return of Le Patin Libre.
