Elmhurst Ballet Company, the graduate year of Elmhurst Ballet School, presents Synergy, an evening of dance excerpts by some of the most influential figures in the history of ballet. These include Ninette de Valois’s Checkmate, widely regarded as de Valois’ signature ballet and a cornerstone of the British ballet repertoire. Excerpts from Frederick Ashton’s Tweedledum and Tweedledee, Peter Wright’s Swan Lake, and David Bintley’s Take Five also appear in the mix, and will be combined with new works, including a contemporary piece by Studio Wayne McGregor. Tango Fire is back
Following its seventh sold-out season at the Peacock Theatre in London’s West End, the award-winning Tango Fire returns to tour the UK from 12 February to 2 March 2020. The Addams Family musical returns
There is to be a new UK & Ireland Tour of THE ADDAMS FAMILY in 2020, a musical comedy, with book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the creators of multi award-winning Jersey Boys, and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on the characters created by Charles Addams. This follows a highly successful premiere tour in 2017. The 2020 Tour will open at the Newcastle Theatre Royal on 30 July 2020 and will once again be directed by Matthew White. Sadler’s Wells International Associate Company Acosta Danza returns to the UK this month for a national tour of its latest programme Evolution, co-produced by Sadler’s Wells and Valid Productions.
