BalletBoyz’s Ed Pearce on Fourteen Days

Hailing from Somerset, Ed was a Royal Ballet Senior Associate before continuing his studies at Elmhurst Ballet School. He graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in 2010. During his final year he featured in Rambert’s production of A Linha Curva by acclaimed Israeli choreographer Itzik Galili, which toured throughout the UK and he also appeared in BalletBoyz: The Next Generation for More4. Charlotte Spencer – Is this a Waste Land?

Charlotte Spencer works as a choreographer, occasional performer, facilitator and curator. She is a Sadler’s Wells Summer University artist 2015-18 and an Artist Activator for Greenwich Dance. She has been commissioned by Greenwich Dance and Trinity Laban, Salisbury International Art Festival, Brighton & Hove Libraries, Jerwood Gallery, Turner Contemporary, Our Woods – Corby and Siobhan Davies Dance. Silver Swans

The Royal Academy of Dance and Angela Rippon are set to inspire over-55s with new specifically tailored Silver Swans® ballet classes, a pilot project launched in the UK and US. Angela Rippon has been appointed the Ambassador for campaign to inspire more over-55s to take up ballet, following new research which demonstrates improved confidence and balance in older adults who dance. Linked.dance

Linked.dance is the name of a website designed specifically to connect more disabled children and young people to dance opportunities in south east London. It has been developed by the Linked partnership of Candoco Dance Company, Greenwich Dance, Magpie Dance and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and was launched earlier this year at the Co Motion inclusive dance platform at the Laban Theatre. Vamos Cuba! returns!

Vamos Cuba!, the sizzling spectacular from celebrated Cuban choreographer Nilda Guerra, returns to London for a run at Sadler’s Wells’ West End venue The Peacock, from 24 October – 11 November. Musical theatre-themed cruising

Musical theatre stars Michael Ball, Beverley Knight, Lee Mead, Sophie Evans, John Owen-Jones and the musical theatre group Collabro will appear as part of Stages, a festival aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas cruise ship. Setting sail in 2018 on 15 October, this new musical theatre cruise has been announced to the great delight of fans of the genre. Motionhouse announces tour of new production

Touring company Motionhouse has announced the dates for the premiere tour of its brand new production Charge, a new multimedia dance-circus which premieres next month. October will see the company present the new dance piece at a number of venues, inspired by energy.
