Flamencos del Sur at The Peña Flamenca de Londres

The Peña Flamenca de Londres, London’s friendly flamenco club, has this year welcomed Flamencos del Sur, a group of top-class performers travelling directly from Granada. Sunday 10 December saw the group present its ‘puro flamenco’, a super-charged gypsy style that is a far cry from choreographed ballet flamenco. Tango After Dark’s world premiere

Germán Cornejo’s Tango After Dark will receive its world premiere at London’s The Peacock theatre, running from Wednesday 28 February – Saturday 17 March. International tango star Cornejo will be welcomed back to London with his company, widely acclaimed by critics and audiences all over the world as one of the most distinguished tango artists working today. Britain’s leading contemporary dance company, Rambert, is inviting the world’s finest early-career dancers to join Rambert2, a new wing of the company designed to develop and showcase the next generation of highly skilled dancers. Rambert2 will tour the UK in autumn 2018 with a triple bill of works by three of the most exciting choreographers working in dance today. Didy Veldman’s new work for Umanoove

Under the artistic direction of Didy Veldman and commissioned by DanceEast, Umanoove presents The Knot: a brand new dance production for 2018. It will be performed at DanceEast, Ipswich and G Live, Guildford in February 2018, followed by an Autumn Tour, examining the social and personal significance of marriage in contemporary Western society. Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre 2018 season includes Little Shop of Horrors

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has recently announced its 2018 season, which will see the return Peter Pan, a musical version of As You Like It and a new production of Little Shop of Horrors. Featuring shows such as these demonstrates the huge versatility of the venue, seeing the return of hit musical J M Barrie’s classic tale Peter Pan, and Max Webster and Charlie Fink’s musical version of As You Like It feature. Rambert Live – behind the scenes

Thursday 9 November saw Britain’s leading contemporary dance company live stream a day of exclusive behind-the-scenes content as part of Rambert Live. The day provided audiences with exclusive access to Rambert dancers’ daily activities and rehearsals of new work in the making, in addition to live studio performances created by Rambert dancers and associates.
