Britain’s leading contemporary dance company, Rambert, is inviting the world’s finest early-career dancers to join Rambert2, a new wing of the company designed to develop and showcase the next generation of highly skilled dancers. Rambert2 will tour the UK in autumn 2018 with a triple bill of works by three of the most exciting choreographers working in dance today. Alongside revivals of Rafael Bonachela’s and Sharon Eyal’s breakthrough works E2 7SD and Killer Pig, Rambert2 will create a new piece by former Alvin Ailey dancer and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet artistic director Benoit-Swan Pouffer. Didy Veldman’s new work for Umanoove

Under the artistic direction of Didy Veldman and commissioned by DanceEast, Umanoove presents The Knot: a brand new dance production for 2018. It will be performed at DanceEast, Ipswich and G Live, Guildford in February 2018, followed by an Autumn Tour, examining the social and personal significance of marriage in contemporary Western society. Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre 2018 season includes Little Shop of Horrors

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has recently announced its 2018 season, which will see the return Peter Pan, a musical version of As You Like It and a new production of Little Shop of Horrors. Featuring shows such as these demonstrates the huge versatility of the venue, seeing the return of hit musical J M Barrie’s classic tale Peter Pan, and Max Webster and Charlie Fink’s musical version of As You Like It feature. Rambert Live – behind the scenes

Thursday 9 November saw Britain’s leading contemporary dance company live stream a day of exclusive behind-the-scenes content as part of Rambert Live. The day provided audiences with exclusive access to Rambert dancers’ daily activities and rehearsals of new work in the making, in addition to live studio performances created by Rambert dancers and associates. Chichester Festival Theatre’s Buddy Scheme

Chichester Festival Theatre launched its Buddies scheme earlier this year, to open its programme to a wider audience who feel unable to attend the venue alone. CFT Buddies assist patrons in booking and collecting tickets. They also meet them on arrival at the theatre, guide them to their seats and sit with them through the performance; help buy any refreshments and locate washroom facilities, and stay with them until the patron is safely on their way home. Titanic on tour

Following its critically acclaimed runs at both Southwark Playhouse and Charing Cross Theatre, Maury Yeston’s Titanic is set to embark on a UK tour from April 2018, delighting fans of the iconic story across the country. Based on the real stories of passengers aboard the ill-fated ship, Yeston’s musical opened on Broadway in 1997 and won five Tony Awards including Best Musical.
