Le Patin Libre

Founded by Alexandre Hamel in 2005, Le Patin Libre break the mould by challenging the conventions of traditional figure-skating through their experimental, and at times nonchalant, style, which draws influences from theatre, urban dance, and tap. From humble beginnings creating routines on the frozen ponds and canals of their hometown Montréal, their witty, inspired and creative performances have gone on to win fans around the globe. First production of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin

The first major stage production of CAPTAIN CORELLI’S MANDOLIN, based on the best-selling novel by Louis de Bernières, will tour the UK in 2019, 25 years after the book was first published. CAPTAIN CORELLI’S MANDOLIN will be directed by Olivier and Tony Award nominee Melly Still, and adapted by Evening Standard Award winner and Golden Globe and BAFTA Award nominee Rona Munro. Tony Adigun’s Fagin’s Twist

Following the critically-acclaimed 2016 premiere of Fagin’s Twist and last year’s tour, Avant Garde Dance and The Place are collaborating again to present the 2018 UK autumn tour. The story reveals a captivating performance and ambitious dance show, based on Charles Dickens’ much-loved classic. Company of Elders, NYDC and the V&A

The Victoria and Albert Museum celebrated the opening of its Photography Centre with playful new performance Dancing Memories, created and performed by Sadler’s Wells’ National Youth Dance Company alumni and Company of Elders. Staged over three dates in October and three in January-February 2019, each 40-minute participatory performance will encourage movement participation from its audience, inspired by its surroundings. Natalia Osipova – The Mother

Your dance teacher is there to help you learn and improve. They are dedicated to your growth as a dancer and an artist, and want the best for you. But being a dance teacher is a demanding job at times, and as a dance student it is important to remember your teacher is only human. Tom Dale’s I Infinite

Tom Dale graduated from Trinity Laban, winning the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography. He danced with choreographers and companies including Mathew Bourne’s Adventures in Motion Pictures, before focusing on creating his own work and forming Tom Dale Company. It is here that Tom pursues his artistic vision, bringing together artists to collaborate on exciting, innovative projects that interrogate art and have a particular synergy with the digital arts and electronic music.
