Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo

The countdown begins until Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo (known as The Trocks), the multi-award winning all-male, comedy ballet company, returns to the UK and receives its Ireland premiere this autumn during an eight-week, twelve-venue tour. It will begin at The Peacock in London on 11 September and concludes at Grand Opera House in Belfast on 3 November.

Dance at the Southbank Centre

Southbank Centre is the UK’s largest arts centre, sitting in the midst of London’s most vibrant cultural quarter on the South Bank of the Thames. The site has an extraordinary creative and architectural history stretching back to the 1951 Festival of Britain. Southbank Centre is home to the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery as well as The National Poetry Library and the Arts Council Collection, and in August will be presenting intriguing dance content.

Rambert’s nine decades of dance

Rambert’s 92nd anniversary saw the launch of a new database documenting every Rambert premiere since The Tragedy of Fashion premiered in 1926, detailing which dancers and musicians performed, names of the creative teams, music and venue, as well as the other pieces performed that night if part of a triple bill. NoFit State Circus and Motionhouse return from down under

NoFit State Circus and Motionhouse are back in the UK following a trip to Australia to perform their outdoor dance-circus collaboration BLOCK to audiences from all around the Commonwealth at Festival 2018, the arts and cultural programme of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
